I had initially met Shannon and Dillon at Bridle Oaks this past April. Together we discussed what their vision was for their fall wedding. Shannon shared with me her color choices of dark teal and coral. We discussed the guys wearing suspenders and incorporating a bit of a vintage feel. I also learned that Shannon loved the goats and all of the other animals at Bridle Oaks. I knew right then and there that I was going to have to get some photos of her in the goat pen come wedding day!
I also had the pleasure of capturing their engagement session at Kraft Azalea which was a lot of fun. I got to learn more about my bride and groom-to-be and have a bit of a trial run before the wedding day.
I cannot tell you how excited I get when I spot a random lens flare when taking photos. Something about that glimpse of warm magic that adds a flair of whimsicalness like no other.

Shannon’s aunt and uncle’s wedding anniversary happened to fall on the same day as S+D’s wedding day. The new couple surprised them with a special dance to honor them and their love and marriage.
