Jenna & Jennifer modern/rustic wedding at The Winter Park Farmer's Market

I first met Jenna at another couple's engagement session. In March 2018, I was photographing a wedding at Bridle Oaks Barn and Jenna was there to help watch the fur babies while I photographed her good friends, Megan and Addy!

I highly recommend checking out the locations beforehand so you can choose the best spots to photograph. This also should help ease any tension before the day arrives. It is a good idea to take the couple to the locations to get their input. This wedding venue was the: Winter Park Farmer's Market

Jenny's last name is (was) Pearl. As I returned the pearls and accessories from being photographed Jenny shared with me that they were originally gifted from her grandfather to her grandmother on their first wedding anniversary, and now they are gifted to Jenny as her something “old” and "borrowed" item. I thought that this so perfect and such a sentimental piece to note.

Jenna also wore a bracelet in memory her grandmother, who had passed just months before the wedding.

Jenna and Jennifer got ready in the same house. Even though they were in close proximity, they didn’t see each other or one another’s dress, hair, makeup... nothing! (They took turns maneuvering around in the house as they were getting ready.). Addy and Megan (the couple' whose wedding I had previously photographed) assisted in being top notch Matrons’ of Honor.

Getting there is half the fun!

Those little moments leading up…

wether it’s in the details.
The emotion.
or the vision finally falling into place.

It’s the moment you’ve been waiting for, and it’s finally here. These are the moments we live for, and the moments we aim to capture.

Just before the Ceremony we set up Jenna and Jenny with a special moment called “First Touch”. This is great for those that don’t want to see each other before the Ceremony but still want to have that moment alone together just before you say, “I do”. You can speak or not speak. Either way it is an emotional and beautiful moment to capture and definitely a great in between for those that don’t want to do a “First Look”.

A fun fact…

Jenna and Jenny borrowed the wall that's in the background of their ceremony. I met with Jenna and she told me they were stressing because their original wall got destroyed in the place where it was stored. Less than two weeks before the wedding, Alice saves the day! haha. Truth be told, I actually created this wall for a wedding show earlier this year. Now it is available for rent upon request.

I always meet with each couple to determine their requirements for their wedding photography - including any special requests, like the First Look!

I love it when I capture the sheer joy photos of the happy couple walking down the aisle!

Jenny surprised Jennifer with a scarf (who originally belonged to her grandmother) and wrapped it around her bouquet before she got a chance to view it. She knew how much she would have wanted her to be there, and this small detail was just a reminder that even though she is not here with us today, she will always be there watching over her. <3

This wedding was a “full-circle” moment for me - I photographed their engagement session at Tiger Bay Forest in Daytona Beach in December 2018 and very thankfully published in H&H Weddings and now the day was finally coming to close. In the end, this sums it up perfectly - Everything for love.

always.
